MEET HUNAR KAHLON
Hunar Kahlon is a community builder and a proud champion for Caledon.
For more than a decade, he has called Caledon home, raising his family, growing his business, and building meaningful relationships with neighbours who have become like family. A devoted husband and a loving father to a son and daughter, Hunar is guided by a simple but powerful belief: always put Caledon First.
As a business owner, Hunar understands hard work, responsibility, and the importance of making thoughtful decisions that stand the test of time.
For the past five years, he has been a familiar and trusted presence in Ward 2, listening closely, speaking honestly, and standing up for the issues that matter most to residents.
When Hunar ran for municipal office in 2022, it was never about a single election. It was about stepping forward to take responsibility for his community and the challenges facing Caledon families. That commitment did not end on election day. He has remained deeply rooted in the community, continuing to serve with the same energy, humility, and care.
Through Humanity Sewa, the charity he founded, Hunar has led impactful initiatives including annual food drives, blood donation camps, and park cleanups, bringing people together and reflecting the generous spirit that defines Caledon. As the Chair of CSAA, he has also helped lead meaningful cultural initiatives such as the annual Diwali drone show, an innovative and environmentally conscious celebration that unites the community.
Hunar’s commitment to Caledon is built on action, leadership, and a deep belief in putting people first. He has built his life here, and now he is ready to help build a stronger future for everyone.
Because Caledon is more than home. It is purpose. It is pride.
